Nth Strike Rule for Violent Crime

IMG_4835

We can reduce violent crime significantly if we institute a strike rule for offenders. As the chart (which hopefully uploaded) shows, we can reduce it by 80% we a 1 strike rule and 50% with a 3 strike rule. Me personally, I’d be in favor of a 2 strike rule which would reduce violent crime by ~63%. Similarly I think we should factor in any previous crime a legal immigrant has committed in their previous country of residence. Convicted of a violent crime once before? You start with one strike. We have to have law and order and this would go a long way towards doing that as well as making our communities much much safer.

Hello:

Time for more proactive and less reactive reforms that dig deep into the issues and solve them. These percentages help to deepen the need for more reform right away instead of waiting for more arrests to present more than likely.

“Released prisoners with the highest rearrest rates were robbers (70.2%), burglars (74.0%), larcenists (74.6%), motor vehicle thieves (78.8%), those in prison for possessing or selling stolen property (77.4%) and those in prison for possessing, using or selling illegal weapons (70.2%).”.

“In the United States, around 67.8 percent of criminals were arrested again within 3 years of release. The research involved 404,638 convicts in 30 states. Around 76.6 percent of the prisoners were rearrested within 5 years of release, and approximately 56.7 got arrested again within 1 year of being released.”.

Gratitude inside your path.

MAGA MAHA!

This is the only path if we are a serious nation that aims to protect its citizenry.

The civilized peoples of the world culled violent criminals at the rate of 1%-2% per generation for millennia. Repeat offenders are the vast majority of offenders in every realm of crime. Ridding the polity of these people is an absolute benefit. Criminals are not due proximity to innocents.
