Who is willing to learn and practice communication strategies that address how to talk with and listen to each other to solve conflict?
Nonviolent Communication (NVC), aka Compassionate Communication, was developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1980’s to facilitate integrity and understanding in communicating with oneself and others. Marshall facilitated all types of situations that resolved personal and social and political conflict before his death in 2015.
There are many resources that teach NVC/Compassionate Communication, including Thom Bond’s www.compassioncourse.org, an online 52 week training and practice course. It is also available in THE COMPASSION BOOK by Thom Bond, and there are many many other teachers and resources.
Would you be willing to introduce NVC/Compassionate Communication training into government education?
