I personally feel that a business that is not at least based in the US and also people who are not citizens, should NOT be able to donate money to political campaigns.
I’m sick of seeing people, especially celebrities, who are from Canada, England, etc making financial contributions to US politicians when they do not live here and have no stake in the matter.

I think this is a much-needed restriction, based on where we are now as a nation, because of it.
The notion that even a business or organization can be a legal entity and provide campaign contributions is proposterous. Busnisses should be in the business of ‘business’, and not in the business of affecting regulation or deregulation of the business sector via political contributions (bribes) to political officials. The entire concept represents a conflict of interest, possibly derailing the primary objective of congressional officials making policy decisions on behalf on their constituants, vs. bribes and expectations of the deep pockets of corporations, who oftentimes hold positions that are contrary to the constituants of whom the congressional official is sworn to represent. Businesses are NOT living entities or American citizens – they are mechanisms of production of goods and/or services only (just like an engine or an alarm clock are merely non-citizen mechanisms), and should be acknowledged as such. It is simply a way to hide donations of real money-interests and domestic and foreign threats who are attempting to manipulate our political system with pre-positioned, well-funded, and politically-indebted candidates. My two cents on it. Thanks.

YES!!! People like Klaus Schwab get their hands into everything in our government by bribing people. Nobody who is a foreigner should be allowed to contribute. They need to audit legislators every year for bribes and conflict of interest. They are legislating in favor of corporations and wealthy donors and against Americans. Literally send Doge in every year to audit legislators - Make America Honest again.

Limit all contributions to politicians and political groups to those having a real ID! Mandate all donation transactions be retained by the FEC while a politician remains in office, make missing records automatic grounds for the politicians removal from office!
