No Voting Rights For Government Staff

If the government currently pays your salary, you shouldn’t be voting. You’re never going to vote to fire yourself, and government will grow out of control.

The government funds most scientists, pays upwards of 25 million Americans (of you count federal, state, and local), and pays out billions in government contracts. It also has $36 trillion in federal debt (not to mention state and local) and it’s almost impossible to get fired from a government job.

What pays for all this? Sales tax, property tax, income tax, payroll tax, inflation tax (it’s a tax), and a dozen other kinds of taxes.

How do you fire government employees when more than 25 million people rely on government for their livelihood? This dependency has to be removed or mitigated. If the government pays for your livelihood, you shouldn’t be about to vote.
