NO TAX ON BONUSES! I believe taxing bonuses is the biggest theft of our income. So many people work hard all year, only to have the IRS take 22% of their bonus earnings.
Why should the IRS have the right to that part of our income as well? Middle-class families often rely on bonuses to pay off debt or use them for down payments on homes. Bonuses should be classified as tips, allowing people to keep more of the money they’ve worked so hard to earn! We should start with people making $250K or less.

Sounds great. The big corps will use this to give big payouts to their buds, but they have end runs around the tax code anyway. The little guy doesn’t. His bonus gets eaten up by higher tax bracket.

yeah, was thinking it has to be based on the income, otherwise like you mention there will be payouts for high income earners. But at least start with the little guys. Maybe start 250k or less . I know with me personally i wait for the bonuses to pay off bill / credit card debt. But a huge chunk of it gets taken every year.
