No one should have to give more than 20 years of their lives to working for a company. Military retirement for everything

Every military branch has a retirement at 20 yrs. Being as you can join at 18, you literally can retire at 38 yrs old. I know how important the military is, but who pays for everything they get?? Free housing, free food, pay, travel, clothes, training. All comes from the tax payer. So who is really more important. Stop making people work until they are 70.
