We should not be being charged taxes on Unrealized Gains, which is how the property tax system is currently set up and this is how people lose their homes. Cities and towns should not be allowed to charge you any taxes on more than the cost you paid for it. It is outright theft. No one can get ahead as long as these practices are allowed to continue unchecked and unfettered.
