NO MORE LOBBYING & NO MORE DONORS

For years the D.C. lobbyist has bribed & controlled politicians on both sides of the isle for political power, special favors, and special interest groups. This happens in both the House and in the Senate. It is time to put the American people first, and push the lobbyist out of Washington D.C.

Also each candidate running for office should receive the exact same financial amount for their campaigns with NO donors allowed. This would allow each candidate to start on common ground. This could become a special interest account provided by the United States Government, which technically is funded by the United States citizens, NOT the large corporations. These accounts would start at local levels all the way to the Presidential races. Each fund could be adjusted, and accordingly disrupted.

I think this is why we have such horrible regulations and laws.

PACs, corporate donations should be banned including in kind contributions. Personal funds should be banned. The only donations allowed should be those citizens allowed to vote for that office. The amount of donation should be capped at an affordable amount for most voters.

The maximum amount of campaign spending should be the same for every candidate - would vary by level of office. Presidential candidates would all have the same amount to spend

No more Political Action Committees. There is way too much money being spent.

Personal and corporate maximum contributions

Non US Cotizens and foreign corporations can not donate

I’d like to see candidates be extremely limited:
1- Only use social media to campaign.
2- No financing from anywhere because social media should be free for a candidate.

No signs, no lobbies, no PACs, no calls. NO MEDIA SHENANIGANS.

Additionally senate votes should become anonymous again as they were made visible so lobbyist could keep their briberies in check.

Government was created to be a check against corporations run amok against the interests of individuals, not a club to be wielded against them by corporations.

I don’t believe this will work as social media companies like Facebook have been censoring and shadowing banning certain candidates - this would put all the power into the hands of big corporate media and our 3 letter agencies.

Lobbying is fine, it’s a constitutional right of the people to petition their governments. HOWEVER, corporate lobbying is neither the right nor the place for companies. Ban PACs and corporate involvement in politics, grassroots efforts only.

Not only this but repeal the 17th Amendment!

This is how a bar tenders became a millionaire in 5 years of office. Bought and paid for by corporate companies.

Exactly! Get the money out of politics. This would be a great way for grassroots candidates to be able to have a fair chance running against incumbents or candidates with a lot of money.

Not sure about no money allowed. Corruption does not follow the law.
Seems like this would only tie hands of those that are law abiding. If everyone received a set amount from government- they would find reason to deny like they did for RFKs protection detail.
What about transparency instead?

No town halls, no Meet and Greet, no Rallies, nothing, just sit in the basement and talk to a Camera and let the fur Fly…

What a Closed Minded way of thinking…

Wow, you’re sweet. Just thinking about not spending millions. A town hall can easily be done by video.

I agree that Corporations should be Forced to stay Out of Politics and anything related to Politics, Law, Religion, Education, and a few other things…

But if the individual wants to give his or her Money to a politician, or someone more worthy like a Statesman, then that’s how things should be, it’s called Freedom, and it’s a Meritocracy, not the Stagnation created by Stalin and Mao, which make American Politics into such a fun and exciting thing…

Meritocracy over Stagnant Socialist Policies, that’s all I’m trying to get across, one thing is much better than the others…
