No more income tax

The federal income tax was originally created to address the extraordinary financial demands of the Civil War and World War I, but it has since evolved into a permanent and expansive system that many believe is no longer justified. Critics of the income tax argue that it has grown beyond its original purpose, becoming a tool for government overreach and an undue burden on the American people. By abolishing the income tax and exploring alternative forms of revenue generation, such as consumption-based taxes, proponents of tax reform believe the government can be forced to operate more efficiently while restoring individual financial freedom and fostering a more prosperous economy.

In their view, a tax system that was designed to meet the temporary needs of wartime should not be the cornerstone of government funding in peacetime. Instead, the nation should return to a system where individuals retain more of their earnings and the government is limited in its ability to extract wealth from its citizens.

Our freedom will always be in danger as long as we are taxed on income. To do this , the government has to have access to all financial records. This is very dangerous if the wrong people are in office and is a precursor to communism. There is nothing fair about it . A consumption tax if done properly is fair. It taxes everyone at the rate they spend, even illegal gambling. If it goes up, it affects all, not just a select few.

A modest proposal to get things started:

Just kill the withholding process. God claims the first fruits as His own. The US Government grabs the first fruits before the taxpayer sees them. And so much more than God claimed. If the people are required to pony up the tax out of funds that pass through their hands the uproar will be glorious.
And some of us will be allowed to put the first fruits in the correct pocket.

Income tax is theft. Just go look up the “Fair Tax” plan to see what could replace it.
