No Insider Trading for Congress

Violation of the insider trading laws shall apply equally to members of Congress as they do for everyone else. No member of Congress shall be able to trade individual stocks, bond, etc, ahead of any legislation when any matter affecting that company or industry, or an industry likely to benefit from proposed legislation, is the subject of any potential congressional action. Congressional members will need to get prior authorization (like anyone in the stock business) prior to trading stocks, and all trades shall be a matter of public record. Violators will be subject to the same penalties as everyone else.

I agree with this! There was a ton of insider trading before tiktok blacked out for US citizens. Insider trading should be banned and punished by law
