No Income Tax on Minors

Our Founding Fathers fought a revolution to win independence from tyranny. “No Taxation Without Representation” was a rallying cry to secede from the Britsh Empire and form our own representative government. Now here we are today, 250 years later and we make minors pay income tax. They cannot vote. They cannot serve in the armed forces without a waiver. They do not have individual sovereignty. They are dependents. And as such, they should not pay income tax or social security tax. This will allow them to work and save money for college or other endeavors. Return to the founding principles. No Taxation Without Representation. Repeal income and social security taxes on individuals under the age of 18.
