We should not be giving ANY money to other countries until every homeless veteran has the care he/she needs. Until every CITIZEN that is living on our streets has been addressed. I realize there are many with mental illness but this is a crisis that we must handle. They need treatment. Also homeless drug addicted people. We need to rehab them. We have given BILLIONS to Ukraine alone. And yet I see people sleeping on our sidewalks. How is this allowed? The veterans that were displaced in NYC to house illegals!! Our citizens come first. Before a penny is sent elsewhere. Our country comes first before we help anyone. I’m not saying not to help but let’s fix our own backyard before we start on someone else’s.
