New Jersey and all NO Fault states Auto Coverage

Need to change the motor vehicle insurance rules on no fault insurance, when a pedestrian is hit by a car no fault insurance should automatically be null and void! I was hit by a car in New Jersey walking my dog Loki. I found out that New Jersey is a no fault state and all of the medical bills go against my auto insurance policy and the man who hit me got off Scott free with a traffic ticket of $240. Meanwhile I have lost 12 of my front teeth, had neck acdf surgery and multiple injections in my spine and shoulder.

Now I am faced with my auto insurance policy going up when I wasn’t even driving a car i was a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. I also found out Erisa lein rights my medical insurance has against any settlement meaning I will not even get hardly any if anything for all the suffering and trama this accident caused me.

I have lost countless hours of work due to medical treatment. Months of physical therapy, and so much undo stress all be a man hit me and my dog with his car. NO FAULT Insurance should automatically be null and void if you strike a pedestrian with your vehicle!

The moment you hit a pedestrian with your vehicle you should automatically be at fault and your insurance should be responsible not the insurance of the pedestrian you hit! Also all limitations on law suits should be void. If you hit a pedestrian with your vehicle, they should have ever right to go after you and your insurance should be fully responsible!

I beg you to get these laws changed my life has been ruined by this financially and physically and emotionally.

Here in PA my car was totalled while parked on the side of the street as I was sleeping in bed. Two cars collided and one veered out of control striking my car and another parked on the side. I called my insurance and they wouldn’t even open a claim because I wasn’t operating the vehicle at the time. They said to go after the insurance of the drivers involved in the collision. Naturally the insurance companies of the two drivers bounced me back and forth for months blaming each other and ultimately nobody did anything to cover my totalled car.

Car insurance is literally highway robbery anymore. States like PA have hundreds of loopholes in their insurance laws that let the insurers off the hook all the time. It’s a travesty and something needs to be done about it.
