Abortion should be legalized NATIONWIDE, up to around 20-25 weeks. Many women don’t know they’re pregnant until after 6 weeks, which is when “Trump” abortion bans make the cutoff. While there are exceptions for “life of the mother,” these have proven to be not effective as there are a multitude of cases where pregnant women, who wanted their child mind you, have died because of complications that could have been easily solved if doctors were allowed to do their job before these women went into sepsis. However, since their lives weren’t currently at risk, the doctors couldn’t preform until it was too late. Additionally, rape and incest are incredibly hard to prove. We can see that within our own government as the people voted for a man who has been held liable for rape, even though he wasn’t criminally charged. Women should be allowed to have control over their own body.
The situations you are referring to, their lives became at risk once the doctors identified that the risk was inevitable. Courts, lawyers, OB-GYN’s, etc. have repeatedly said that pro-life exceptions do NOT require that the risk be “imminent” in order to exist. All of those doctors in question committed medical malpractice.
The GOP trifecta isn’t going to legalize elective abortion, especially until viability as you suggested. BTW 93% of all abortions occur before 12 weeks. A 15 week restriction gives more than plenty of time to determine pregnancy status and at some point, women have to take responsibility for their child.

We need more people. I propose having the baby and if one cannot take care of it, give it to an orphanage. If one is going to be socially active, please use protection. If one is a victim of abuse, then it is very unfortunate and one should push for legal actions. Its important to do anything to not get into such situation, carry protection like mace, if possible live in a place more safe or seek a ladies shelter. Overall, make good decisions and factor in security. I feel females should learn self defense. Females need to learn to identify and stay away from psychopaths, sociopaths, narcisists despite how confident and attractive the appear. They need to stay away from harmful substances and understand the possible consiquences and situational possibilities of substances. I also feel guys should learn about sexual discipline, ethics, and the value of consent. I also believe the integrity over genders and family culture has completely been divided or broken and needs to be rebuild. The US needs to rebuild unity among genders and remove the current negative culture which is currently predominant. Both male and females need to develop themselves and intellectual, mature, responsible adults and be responsible for their lives, decisions, and actions. Overall, the world needs unity and cooperation to build a high-trust society so that these situations are greatly reduced or never happen. That’s how I feel.
