In 1845 a law was established setting election day on Tuesday. This day was chosen to accommodate traveling to polling locations, farmers needs and religion observation. I suggest moving election voting timeframe to Friday and Saturday. This would allow more people the opportunity to vote. This should not be a National Holiday. Too many already. Voting is a right, not a means to get free money from your employer or government.
