More research around Autoimmunity

Doctors continue to provide treatments to patients but rarely educate us on nutrition or explain the root causes of autoimmune conditions. What is the main cause of autoimmunity? While our environment and diet play a role in contributing to autoimmune diseases, are they the true causes? We still don’t know for sure.

We need healthier food options, but more importantly, we need doctors who aren’t overwhelmed and can focus on identifying the causes of autoimmune diseases, rather than just prescribing medications that treat the problem yet may alter our DNA or lead to other serious conditions like cancer. Whether it’s through adding relevant courses to medical school curricula or requiring additional training, we need better answers. Perhaps big pharmaceutical companies should also invest more in researching the causes of autoimmune diseases.

We want to be treated as human beings, not just numbers. Thank you to our current doctors, for helping us through science, but it’s time to discover what truly causes autoimmunity.

Hello:

I thought someone mentioned, in a different site, that some physicians are rarely involved in nutrition. Like there time rests on diseases and cures in regard to drugs, but barely any nutritional wisdom.

Individuals, like Dr. Eric Berg, could become the healthcare 2.0 where proactive health becomes a foundational root within the sector of hospitals and health initiatives and mixes within the reactive support that current healthcare continues.
