More help with food, necessities for citizens on a fixed income if they are under poverty level and on SSD

I believe we can do more to help those of us who are considered poverty level citizens and on social security disability. It is so hard to feed my family of just 3 with the cost of food these days. I felt like my own government was turning it’s back on me and my family when I had to go to a food bank but an illegal immigrant was given thousands of dollars a month to splurge at any Supermarket they wanted to. Nobody should go hungry in the United States of America and it wouldn’t take much to put something in effect to make sure that doesn’t ever happen again. If you can do it for millions of illegals you can do it for your fellow citizens.
