I believe that the military should expand age recruitment to above 18 and below 60. There is a job for everyone. If not full time then there should at least be positions in the reserves. If pension is an issue then i think people could either agree to join with no pension or they can get a prorated pension for the years that they serve. With recruitment numbers down over the past few years i believe that opening service up to a bigger part of the population would bring back excitement in service and a sense of patriotism for many Americans. Many older patriots would bring a world of experience to multiple fields within the military.
