These three all seem to have the same sentiment for having a Federal Concealed Carry for legal gun owners to be recognized in all states. Since the 2nd Amendment is a constitutional right, it should be recognized nationally (reciprocity between all states). Proposal #1 could be the parent proposal since it is very concise and to the point, but could be hashed out to be a little more detailed on the duties of Federal vs State regulation to be sure it makes sense and is not overburdensome for legal owners and get us in the hole some states are already in.
Fellow law abiding citizens should not fear Legal gun owners. The vast Majority are responsible with them. So in addition to supporting this merged proposal, I advocate a federal effort to deal with the stolen guns, criminals, and those at risk as a more comprehensive effort to solve the problem. Even if that means Ghost guns (I am aware of the law) Enforcement and accountability please
So, for instance, I got my concealed carry weapon license in New Jersey, which basically lets me keep a loaded gun in the car. However, I should probably just surrender to the authorities for breaking the state’s statutes against entering senatorial areas if I get out of the car. The reasoning behind this is as asinine as the man running the state, NJ provides a target-rich environment for mentally unstable individuals that will prey on the NJ sensitive areas. NJ is a mass shooting waiting to happen; the violations of 3-5 years in prison, and fines of $150k for carrying a CCW into a sensitive area, result in traveling about NJ impossible, it is clearly a violation of the 2nd Amendment
