Pharmaceutical Companies and Medical Device Providers may not communicate directly with or directly compensate healthcare providers. They may only communicate with consumers of healthcare services. This is to remove the conflict of interest that Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies have w.r.t. what treatments and care consumers are allowed to access as well as the costs and sources of those treatments. Likewise, healthcare providers should not receive ANY compensation, kickbacks, or incentives from Pharmaceutical and Medical Device manufacturers.
