Ban medication ads. Its the doctor that orders it, the pharmacy that fills it, they should educate the patients on medications and give educational materials at the doctor visit and pharmacy. These ads convince people that they need medications without educating the patients. They can advertise in magazines and brochures at the physicians office. I think this drives up the cost of medications as well. So many drug ads on tv, its horrible. The need for a medication should be discussed between a doctor and patient. These ads are ridiculous.

I support this. Each medication prescribed should be evaluated by doctor and patient…not desired by person who watched the dancing people on tv with their smiley happy face telling how wonderful it is.
