A proposal for Medicare Reform:

  • Eliminate the 10% penalty assessed to seniors when they return to the program after a break in service due to their inability to pay.
  • Lower copays and lower prescription drug costs.
  • Make Medicare less complicated for seniors to understand so they can make the best choices for themselves.

I write Medicare insurances,. It’s so complicated and it’s more and more expensive each year. Advantage plans are so complex and change each year. Supplements are very expensive as you age. Drug plans change each year. Who wants to change every year when all are so complex and seniors have to constantly check to assure their coverage fits their needs, drugs and budget! Seniors are targeted by telemarketers who do not explain anything well. It’s a mess really. Should be easy when we are in our senior years. It’s far from it.
