Many of the products in our stores have misleading and incomplete labels. All products should show where they are actually made. No more “distributed by,” “made for,” or my favorite obfuscation: “Made responsibly in the PRC.” There are 2 ways to lie: by omission and by commission. These types of labels are nothing more than lying by omission. Shoppers in a hurry will often see the U.S. address of the distributor or marketer, and think these products are made in the U.S., but often this is a screen designed to hide the true origin of the product. This needs to stop immediately, and if done, it could be an aid to bringing manufacturing back to America. My complaints this far have been ignored.
