Mandatory P.E./Recess for K-5 schools

Schools have been streamlined to cut “unnecessary” courses like P.E. because of the pressure to perform academically for funding. But it is not progress for children to to push for the apex of test scores at the cost of their health and sustainable self-care. Physical health and mental health are correlated as well, and improving the mental health of our schools is a vital component to child safety and disaster preventions like schools shootings.

I propose we make 30-45 minutes of physical activity through P.E. and/or recess mandatory on a daily basis in K-5, and ideally even K-8. The hyperactivity of children is oftentimes normal and does not need ADHD diagnoses and medication that corrupt Big Pharma pushes. Children need their outlet for play and exercise, and the result of denying them that has come at far too great a cost to the people, and far too great a boon for the corrupt elites.
