Any increases in minimum wage should also force increase to all other earners by the same percentage whether they are hourly or salaried.

There are increases in minimum wage but those that were/are making those levels in pay before the increase in minimum wage only got COLA increase at best.

If you want an increase in minimum wage, all employees get the same percentage increase in pay.

No one ever talks about this. It will still do what increase in minimum wage did - everything will cost more and some will lose jobs. However, i think itll make people think more about the policy before passing it (I would hope).

If minimum wage is increased above a non minimum wage jobs former pay, that job is now paying minimum wage.

If it’s a harder or more skilled job than minimum wage, they will raise the wages on their own because workers won’t keep working harder when they can go be a cashier at a gas station for the same wages but more difficulties.
