Current welfare system penalizes families and incentivises single mothers. This is toxic to the fabric of society and leads to statistically poorer outcomes. In addition to welfare to work, implement welfare programs that incentivise 2-parent households even if one parent is working. Stop the horrid policies that make it more lucrative to be a single parent on welfare.
