Make Ticket Scalping Illegal

I work in the live events industry especially in ticketing and we see it all the time that people will buy a lot of seats from the venue’s box office and resell that at ridiculous prices. Sometimes they will send the valid tickets but sometimes they won’t send them or they’ll send the same tickets to multiple people. We get issues when people want to upgrade their seats or if the seats are relocated but the new seats aren’t sent to the person attending the event. I would like to see ticket scalping be made illegal so customers are no longer scammed or ripped off by paying hundreds of dollars for a ticket that did not cost that much money to begin with
