Us Americans are forced to pay into the social security system without a choice to opt out. Then the system penalizes you for early withdrawal of your hard earned money if you choose to take it out before you’ve reached the age limit of retirement. The system also tells you what you can have every month and most people won’t live to receive the all the money they’ve spent most of their life putting into the system. What happens to your money once you pass away? Does it get absorbed back into the system? The Social security tax should be voluntary and you should be able to determine what you put in and get out of it and when, because after all it is your money so therefore you should have the freedom to have a say in what happens to it and when!
