Senior citizens make up 20% of the drivers on the road. They drive below speed limits creating dangerous conditions. Their eyesight is going bad, making them less alert. About 40% of people 65+ will have some sort of memory loss. All of these factors combined make for extremely dangerous drivers. This is why I believe that senior citizens aged 65+ should have to retake their physical drivers test every 2-3 years. I believe that enforcing this will create safer driving conditions for everyone, including those aged 65+.
