No one should be persecuted for their political beliefs. The current administration has abused their power, and pursued lawfare against their enemies at every opportunity. We need to keep this from ever happening again. Making political beliefs a protected class will help heal the divisions in this country. People have no control over what they believe is the truth. This should not be something that people are punished for. I believe the founding fathers would fully support this protection if they saw how our republic has been perverted.
