Make Home Birth Affordable and Covered under insurance!

I live in Alabama and most states do not cover home births under insurance. It is anywhere from $3000-$7000 out of pocket. The C Section rate in America has sky rocketed with the amount of interventions after interventions that end up leading to c sections. I was able to have a home birth experience and wish every woman could afford to have that same experience in the comfort of their home or a birth center. In AL we only have one birth center and it was a fight just to get one! In other states they endorse midwifery vs others. I wish all states would offer home births as an option for women and cover it under their insurance! So many of my friends want the same experience I received, but cannot afford $5600 out of pocket cost.
