Make endless scrolling websites have a "I only want to see a given number of posts before clicking a button to see more" type setting. Where that setting is clearly visible on the scrolling page

Policy:

“Websites that allow endless scrolling should keep a setting that the user can enable. Which disables endless scrolling to instead use pagination with a given number of content that the user decides. Where new content is instead received by pressing a button or waiting a deliberate amount of time. These settings should be able to be set on a per user basis. The settings should be visible on the feed page. This will help ensure that people dont get as caught up in scrolling endlessly. Because they will feel more what amount of content they are going through. Endless scrolling pages hi-jack part of the human need to reach the end of the content or page. The setting mentioned here will give people the option to either use the endless scrolling page as it already was. But also to use a version of the feed with fixed scrolling.”

This is not a matter for the Federal Government to be addressing.
