Can we please merge dental and health insurance and coverage? I am desperately in need of extensive dental work because i have a cleft palate. i am only 21. But i CANNOT afford it and most insurances rarely covers any of it. Dental health is so important as it affects your gut health and heart health. We need to be as american people able to access dental care as easy and often as we access medical care. Thanks lol

I work as an RDA, registered dental assistant, and on a daily basis we preform full mouth extractions on people. This is the outcome on many different situations: former drug abuse, poverty, no insurance, genetics, infection, trama, etc. This issue needs to be taken more seriously. The people of America need to have to ability to be seen by dentists and oral surgeons. Only once a year we are able to get together and provide care to citizens who can’t afford to have the work done. You would think that one day with dozens of dentists and many assistants could make a large impact, but, sadly, it doesn’t make a dent. I stand behind this completely, and I hope this is taken seriously at some point.
