Make American Mothers Great Again

As a stay-at-home mother and small business owner, I understand firsthand the immense value that mothers bring to their households, communities, and the nation.

Our role as nurturers, caretakers, and educators is foundational to the well-being of our children and the future of America. For many of us, choosing to be a traditional wife and mother is not only a personal decision but one we believe to offer the best environment for raising strong, well-adjusted children.

Supporting Stay-at-Home Mothers with Small Businesses:

In today’s economy, many stay-at-home mothers also contribute financially by running small businesses from home. This dual role is both empowering and essential for many families to thrive. To encourage and support these women, I propose the following:

  1. Free LLC Registration for stay-at-home-moms

The government should waive the fees for Limited Liability Company (LLC) registration for mothers who choose to stay at home while starting a business. By removing this initial barrier, we can make entrepreneurship more accessible to millions of women who want to provide for their families while being full-time caregivers.

  1. Tax Breaks for Stay-at-Home Moms with Businesses

Offering tax breaks or credits for stay-at-home moms running small businesses will reduce the financial burden on families and incentivize more women to prioritize entrepreneurship. These tax incentives can help offset business expenses and ensure that mothers are supported in their efforts to balance home and business responsibilities.

This proposal isn’t just about economics-it’s about valuing and empowering mothers who have chosen the traditional role of homemaker, while also recognizing their contribution as small business owners. By supporting us, you support the fabric of American families, ensuring a stable, nurturing environment for future generations.

I am not a politician, but simply a mother, a nurturer of my household, and a small business owner who believes in the power of motherhood and entrepreneurship. I hope this proposal sparks meaningful action to help stay-at-home moms like me to continue to contribute to both their families and the economy.

Let’s Make American Mothers Great Again.

I agree!

Further, make childcare affordable, so stay-at-home moms can have a relief from childcare when running a small business!

I would like to propose a slogan: “domestic goddess” for someone who is great at cooking and establishing a loving community for their shildren and friends. :grinning::grinning:

I would even go as far as tax breaks for stay at home moms period. Raising the next generation is arguably the most important thing anyone is going to do to contribute to society and we should be promoting policies that incentivize this. The scientific literature is very clear on home important it is for moms to be THE major part of a childs life specifically in the first 3-5 years of life.

I would also suggest making it federally mandated to count as work experience and taken into account by employers for moms that want to return to work as their kids get older. It’s not a resume gap… it should be looked upon favorably.

I recently thought to myself, I wonder what advice should I give my daughter. My mom was a single mom, didn’t graduate college, had a low wage job. I went to college and got a decent-paying job, but there were drawbacks–the stress, the cost, and overall harms of being away from my babies for too long every week for full time work. I also went thru Family Court. If more women could pull off this idea, being a stay at home home, while running a small business, that would offer them the best of both worlds: a healthy parenting relationship and direct access to the economy, something that’s very difficult to achieve in this country.

BTW, I have also proposed a policy that would help increase the quality parenting time for both parents, offering various leave and flexibility options for new mothers, working moms/dads and students. Could everyone reading this please take a look? It’s probably too liberal for Trump/GOP, but I’m just throwing this out there because I truly believe in it:
