Lower the cost of college the following ways. When I was in college the norm was you had to take 64 credits in your major and 64 credits in electives to graduate. Simply cut the # of electives needed to graduate at least in half. That alone cuts 32 credits equivalent to one year of college=25% less tuition. Next make student loans interest free IF payments are made on time. End this loan forgiveness program used to buy votes. For those with oustanding loans now lower their rate to 0%. Calculate how much interest they have already paid and deduct that amount from their current loan balance. They can continue to pay balance with 0% interest.
