I put it into health because here it might have the biggest impact, but this principle might apply to almost everything.
if there’s any problem to solve, check first if there are already simple solutions.
food related issues? look into traditional fasting methods first (not compkicated things like bariatric surgery)
clean air for breathing? plant trees and other plants. (not some sort of air cleaning machine)
sun burning hot? create shadows (yay, trees again!), wear covering clothes, introduce siestas…
old people breaking bones too easily, having osteoporosis? make resistance training part of the usual care routine.
children being bored in school, fidgeting, making noise? let them run around a lot, walks in nature, work in the school garden …
maybe in some cases, high tech solutions are the way to go. by all means, use them! but if there are easily accessible low tech solutions, try them first.
