Make Low income family housing change its ways of rent adjustments. Currently as the tenants do better their rent is raised to be 30% of their take home pay. Most of the people get governemnt assistance to cover a portion of their rent. Create a program that allows them to make more money without a rent increase as long as they put it into a account that only can be used for purchasing a home. The goal should be to get people on their feet and out on their own, not keep them renting because they cant get a head due to increasing rent. We should be helping them get on their feet which opens up housing for new tenants. Waiting lists are over a year in most places due to bad policies.
