Narcan is free, so should be epi-pens and insulin. Both are life saving medications that some people go without due to the price. If Narcan can be distributed for free, then epi-pens and insulin should be as well. While addiction is a disease, the individual has some control over starting the use of the substance. However, even though there are some choices that can exacerbate the risk for diabetes there also is a strong genetic factor for this disease. People who have diabetes and allergies should also have access to free life saving medications, the same as individuals with drug addictions.
