Large corporations are buying up tremendous amounts of rural homes and turning them into expensive rental properties, which artificially inflates the housing market prices as well as rental prices of the area. It dilutes the availability of affordable homes for the area and contributes to a housing crisis. The percentage of homes that are corporate owned in a given area should be capped.
