With the increase in the development of AI, facial recognition systems and programs, drones and robots, Congress should in act laws that require the following.

Really all of it should be banned completely - and certainly no microwave radiating (however non-ionizing) robots/drones should be allowed in public. No weapon systems should be allowed on drones/robots regardless of lethality.

We also need regulations regarding private drones flying over other citizens private property. Currently there are not enough regulations. It really should be at least trespassing just like if someone was walking on your property.

Agree

Generally you own the airspace over your land for around 500ft, after that it’s ‘navigable airspace’ and open for public use and under FAA control. Trespass is already illegal, and while the federal government only has restrictions on government spying on citizens, most localities have peeping tom laws(for drones with cameras).

The issue with enforcement is proving whose drone it is. You would need expensive equipment to trace the controller signal, but you would generally be in your right to manually capture a trespassing drone.

Do I need to register my drone and if so, how do I register?

Federal law requires all drones operated under 14 CFR Part 107 to be registered. The limited statutory exception for recreation requires registration of all aircraft weighing more than .55 pound (250 grams). All registered aircraft must have their registration number displayed on the exterior. Review the UAS registration information to learn more about the program.
