Legalize ibogaine in the United States . Ibogaine is legal in many countries, including Mexico. It has many benefits for people with opioid addiction. It helps people who want to detox and get off opioids.
Yes! This could quite literally heal addicts! It rewires the brain. We could turn our country completely around and heal so many people that suffer from addiction, PTSD, depression, anxiety and so many other issues. We could go from being a very weak country to the strongest country again. If we had to go to war right now we would be so screwed. This could literally heal America.
Yes you’re right it has so many more benefits then just opiate detox. Opiates have taken over and ruined so many lives/family’s and cities. Nobody trust big pharma anymore the shakler family introduced the U.S. to OxyContin. It’s either quit cold Turkey, which not a lot of people can do, or get a addicted to another substance like Suboxone, or methadone. Which takes you back to the doctors and clinics. I really believe that ibogaine would, or could solve and fix this opiate epidemic that has been going on for almost 3 decades. So many people are homeless, because of opiates. Legalizing ibogaine could even help solve the homeless problem we have in the United States.
I’m not sure how this website works but I think a lot of people would agree with legalizing ibogaine. How did you find this post? How do more people find this post and information?

We have a white paper on this initiative that can be found on the Journal of Correctional Healthcare!
Emerging Potential of Ibogaine for Veterans and Reducing Recidivism
Abstract
Ibogaine is classified as a Schedule I controlled substance in the United States and is not currently approved for therapeutic use. Despite this, clinical research indicates that ibogaine can be used to effectively treat mental disorders such as substance use disorders (SUD), PTSD, TBI, and depression in veterans. Some states have approved budgets for further study, whilst others have abandoned the pursuit amid concerns of the drug’s potentially fatal side effects. This paper aims to consolidate existing literature with the political and practical history of ibogaine to analyze how ibogaine may impact the treatment of mental health issues faced by veterans and potentially disrupt the military-to-incarceration pipeline.
