If you graduated from a certified police academy in any of the 50 state’s and were certified as a police officer, worked as a paid police officer for at least one year, then that certification will be accepted by any other state of the United States, once you are hired in a different state their post program will provide you with a course on their state law and traffic codes and upon successful completion of that course you will be a duly certified officer in that State.
