Give a tax cut for people who turn their yard into a sustainability sourced organic food plot who would can, freeze and store their own food. US has so many unnecessary lawns that could be used to feed the family who lives there or those they want to share their abundance with. People will then know exactly what is in/on the food they eat. It’s hard work and storage containers and jars/lids can be costly along with seed/plant purchases so the tax cut would assist them with those costs. This would also cut down on weedkillers people currently spread on their lawn.

YES PLEASE! I am chomping at the bit to just have a beautiful little permaculture farm to compost and build back our nations soil and create habitat for our wildlife and raise my kids with tons of access to outside, but I cannot afford to buy a house/property. I also know lots of people who have expressed similar desires and limitations.
Please give us a Homestead act 2.0.

Yes! But include any size land, many people with small backyards can still have gardens.

I agree, but I don’t own five acres, I own three. I would like to see the acreage set smaller. I have seen nearly fully self sufficient farming done on less than acre. People should be rewarded for investing in the micro farm movement.
