Job creation through infrastructure renewal

Congress should focus on providing a tremendous workforce surge by improving the USA’s infrastructure: roads, trains, water, electricity, gas, telecom/internet to be weatherproof and resilient to sabotage. There should not be above ground electricity wires. The water and gas supply infrastructure should be updated and 100yr old pipes replaced. The roads and bridges updated. We have been neglecting the basic maintenance and sending our technology and funds to the rest of the world while ignoring our own. We need to be updating for the future when data will not be transmitted by wire or fiber but from satellites and remove the excessive land-based infrastructure burden.
