IRS Audits for Congress

I am proposing that we entertain a policy that imposes mandatory annual IRS audits for anyone serving in a public office where public policy and law are created, for the duration of their time and service. Americans are tired of watching politicians enter office making $173,000 a year and coming out of one or two terms as a multimillionaire. Not only with this create a system of checks and balances in terms of influence from special interest groups, but also would deter, things like insider trading, or making monetary deals with China, or Ukraine. Right Joe? This would also help to ensure that anybody who ran for office would not be doing so with the idea of becoming rich; they would be more focused on genuine service for the people. However, you would have to draft it to make it work, Get one of your lawyers to put it in legally or whatever you need, but I think that that would be a great tool FORCE honesty in D.C.
