Integrative medicine Insurance

We should have all inclusive insurance coverage for integrative medicine and holistic (biological)dental care . My vision includes proper integrative medical and dental testing and treatment integrated together. (We are a whole body) no segmentstion, that is not considered out of network. We also need the insurance to cover vitamin drips, ozone treatments, ultra violet light blood irradiation, hyperbaric chamber. Or ANY treatment that will help including paying for vitamins or something that can replace the harsh prescriptions for appropriate levels. We should also have a center that takes all the integrative treatments and test for effectiveness and educates Drs globally as to these types of treatments and Saftey protocols should be investigated as many people need to be detoxed from the harmful prescriptions, metals etc, that were forced on our society. We need to totally reimagine the medical world to do what’s right for the people!!

Nutritional and fitness programs should also be included some conditions like high blood pressure and even type 2 diabetes can be treated successfully with these interventions with no or very limited medications

Agree-Integrative, holistic and ā€˜alternative’ medical care should be the first sad primary care we receive-not drugs & injections from the allopathic community.

I can relate to this proposal as integrative medicine is my first option whenever I need care. However, we should not expect others to pay for our preferences. The alternatives have not yet proven themselves to be cheaper and more effective than the options covered by insurance. Rather insurance should cover general wellness and promote health, not necessarily specific disease treatments.

That said, money in HSA should be available to cover any medical treatment that the owner chooses. Perhaps that need to be available more broadly and coverage expanded.

Health insurance premiums are sky high as is, no need to add more ā€œrequired coverageā€ that will push them even higher. Remember, whatever they cover we are all paying for and, once a service is covered by insurance, the price of it tends to sky rocket. People should adopt health lifestyles and diets, stay fit and stop looking to the gov to mandate us to pay (thru the premiums we pay) for others to use untested and unproven ā€œtreatments.ā€

An alternative idea might be: Have only emergency medical insurance, while taking care of your own health and well-being. The benefit is that the money not spent on full coverage insurance could be saved for the future - a nest egg so to speak.

Intergrated Health Drs should be the top tier of Doctors as they provide you a more detailed answer to your health and a natural approach to healing that result in resolving health issues not masking them. It should be an individual choice where you want the best care for yourself. Every individual should have a God given right to choose who provides the best medical care for their own health. Insurance shouldn’t manipulate where that care is no matter what kind of physician you are. Why go to years of medical school and hold a degree if an insurance company is going to say that is not suffient. Insurance holds too much control just like the big pharmaceutical companies and that’s what needs to stop as well as being overpriced. MANY Americans can’t afford insurance and pay out of pocket for their best care!

Most integrative providers are snake oil salesman pushing a scam

You don’t think that the regular practitioners aren’t bought off with incentives to do wrong by you. That being said the more reason for integrative medicine research funded by the people to find the best solution for the right answer to help people instead of supporting Pharma companies. All companies suppling any form of medicine or vitamins or whatever, should disclose all investors and ties to the monetary source so we can bring back real healthcare.

Who is gonna fund the research? Nutraceuticals who will just design a study to get the results they want?

There’s antikick back statute and stark law already that provides protections. Midlevel providers however are not bound by stark law.

This is a useful website though to see who’s getting lobbied to by pharma:

Or better yet, NO ā€œhealth insurance.ā€ Seems that very few understand that ā€œinsuranceā€ is mostly a scam, controlled by the state. Worse, is that ā€œitā€ defers to the ā€œelite classā€ of ā€œeducated (read indoctrinated)ā€ individuals that have been granted ā€œdegreesā€ and ā€œlicensesā€ from corrupt entities/

I say, for all medical entities - post your pricing for all to see, for every procedure, every office visit, and every single thing you do.

Let the consumer decide what they want to participate in.

FAR too many fail to understand that nothing is free, and ā€œinsuranceā€ is subsidized, and that this is the most important thing to overcome.

It’s pathetic, really, that so many feel entitled to have someone else pay for services they use.
