Insurance should cover the visit and the treatment in the same appointment

I have a permanent injury, for which I receive treatment at a pain management clinic. I have to take time off of work twice a month, rather than once a month, to receive my treatment, because the insurance won’t pay for the treatment and the office visit on the same day. This puts an unnecessary burden on myself and my employer. If I want to avoid having to have two appointments, I have to pay out of pocket for the visit, since it’s the cheaper portion and they will cover the treatment, but then the portion I pay for the visit, doesn’t count toward my deductible. This should never be allowed, it works against the patient, who pays through the nose for their premiums in the first place, which the insurance companies are raking in money hand over fist.
