Increased gambling regulations on house edge and advertising

i agree that gambling has its place as a leisure activity, whether it’s casinos or sports betting, but more regulation is required to keep companies from engaging in such predatory practices.

an example of this is many casinos switching from 2 zero roulette tables to 3 zero. the average person mint even recognize things like this when they are just being taken advantage of. roulette is already one of the games with the highest house edge and now casinos are just trying to milk for every penny.

The sports betting and sports fantasy industry is extremely predatory. similar to vaping in the past, these companies clearly target underage kids and do very little to keep them from playing and betting money on their sites. apps such as betr use very predatory tactics such as continually talking about their “100x” bets on their snapchat ads (an app mostly used by kids, these ads even appear on my sisters snapchat and she is under 18). teens in this country are already being addicted to many things whether it’s social media or substances, and gambling is just another that is constantly being pushed on them. there needs to be a limit on the number of gambling ads that can be shown at sporting events.

We need sports betting and online gambling legalized federally followed by better regulations for the consumers!
