Creating a Supervision Office for illegal aliens who are already in the US waiting for their court date. They should report with their supervision officer monthly, be drug tested and if the person commits a criminal offense while on immigration supervision, they will automatically be disqualified for legal status and immediately be deported back to their country.
One question I raise to this suggestion is it they commit or are convicted? While I agree with you and think this is a good idea (I work in law enforcement/community supervision), I believe in our justice system and would suggest they be convicted before being automatically disqualified. The number of convicted illegal aliens in this country is high because usually the only ones deported are the ones who committed violent offenses. I agree with you that they should be deported. I also would suggest GPS tracking devices to keep track of their whereabouts while waiting for their court date.
I definitely agree with GPS, random home visits, etc. I also work as a Supervision Officer and the amount of illegal aliens in supervision is outstanding. While most of them are non violent, most of them continue to commit misdemeanor offenses. If you continue to commit crimes they should be automatically disqualified and deported. If they do not commit any more offenses they can be given a chance to legal status.
