For those that don’t deport or for a pathway to citizenship, we can set up small abandoned towns as manufacturing towns and create work programs where people learn a trade, learn our language & constitution. Their kids can go to school and they can have basic healthcare needs met. In return, their pay would be lower because they’re in a work program that allows for low cost goods to be produced on shore, but they’re working their way to citizenship. Once they graduate the program, they can either become a trainer themselves (if they want to stay) or they can move on with citizenship & a resume and have acclimated to American life. Obviously there’s a lot of detail to hash out—but we could solve for needing low cost on shore manufacturing and goods.
